| 1 | pound | pears | canned or fresh sliced |
| 5 | large | apples | cortland (or other baking apple), sliced |
| 1/3 | cup | sugar | |
| 2 | tablespoons | flour, all-purpose | |
| 1 | teaspoon | cinnamon | |
| 1 | cup | flour, all-purpose | |
| 1 | cup | brown sugar | |
| 8 | tablespoons | butter | |
| 1 | cup | nuts | chopped |
Combine all ingredients and turn into an unbaked pie shell.
TOPPING: Combine and sprinkle over filling.
Bake 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45 minutes or until apples are soft.
Cool to room temperature and serve. (I especially love this pie served refrigerated.
Best if made the day before. It will cut beautifully.
Don't let this recipe get away without copying it!! Enjoy!
Sounds delicious! I want to make it, but unfortunately the recipe is not clear. Your instructions are to "combine all ingredients", and "turn into" (I assume this means to put it into) a pie shell.
The next instruction is to "combine and sprinkle the topping over the filling" What topping?? In your previous instruction you had me combine all the ingredients!
Please correct this! I am dying to try it! (and these ingredients I combined are not going to keep too long!)

The Sweet Taste of Success? Last night I ate at one of those all-you-can-eat Chinese buffets. I love those places. They usually...
Oven baked zucchini sticks, I like these oven fried zucchini sticks, after baking, these sticks were golden brown and crispy, and much less oil than deep fried. Good change.
