| 3 | large | egg whites | |
| 1/4 | teaspoon | cream of tartar | |
| 1 | cup | sugar | |
| 1 | cup | graham cracker crumbs | |
| 1 | teaspoon | vanilla extract | |
| 1 | cup | pecans | chopped |
Beat egg whites until foamy; add cream of tartar, then beat until eggs hold peaks.
Gradually add sugar, vanilla, and chopped nuts.
Fold in graham crumbs; pour into slightly buttered pie plate and bake in 325 degree oven for 35 minutes.
Cool; serve with whipped topping or ice cream.

Fantastic recipe. The only thing I changed is I added 1/2 tsp of white pepper to the filling. I will use this again.
