A simple meatloaf topped with cheese that can be made in advance using your Nuwave oven.

45 ml dehydrated onions

7.5 ml cajun seasoning

lightly beaten

3 slices cheese slices, processed

79 ml ketchup

Directions

In a small bowl, add the dried onions and 3 tablespoons of hot or boiling water. Set aside to re-hydrate.

In a mixing bowl add the ground beef, bread crumbs, cajun seasoning, lightly beaten egg and the re-hydrated onions. Mix together thoroughly.

Add the meat loaf mixture into a loaf pan. Press down to shape. If making ahead, turn out the loaf, wrap in aluminum foil and freeze until ready to use.

Fresh

Turn out the meatloaf onto the one inch rack of a NuWave or FlavorWave oven.

Bake on high for 10 minutes.

From frozen

Bake on high for 14 minutes.

Fresh and Frozen

Cover with foil and cook an additional 5 minutes.

Remove foil and top with slices of cheese and spread with the ketchup.

Cook an additional 3 to 4 minute until the cheese has melted.

Serve.

One article said cook 50 minutes and this one says only cook ten minutes. ????
