Metric measurements


4cups apples peeled and grated*
cups sugarVideo
2cups flour, all-purpose
teaspoons baking sodaVideo
1teaspoon salt
2teaspoons cinnamonVideo
¼teaspoon cloves powdered*
½teaspoon nutmeg
½teaspoon ginger *
2teaspoons vanilla extractVideo
2large eggsVideo beaten well
¾cup vegetable oil
½cup walnuts coarsely

Mix grated apples with sugar and allow to sit for ½ hour.

Mix all dry ingredients together.

Set aside.

After apple and sugar mixture has sat for ½ hour, add eggs, oil and vanilla.

Mix well.

Add dry ingredients and then walnuts.

Pour mixture into a greased (I use non-stick spray) 13 x 9 inch pan, and bake for 50 minutes at 350℉ (180℃).
