| 2 1/2 | pounds | beef brisket | cut into 1inch cubes |
| 1 | pound | ground pork | lean |
| 1 | large | onion | chopped |
| 2 | tablespoons | wesson oil | |
| 1 | x | salt | to taste |
| 1 | x | black pepper | to taste |
| 3 | cloves | garlic | minced |
| 2 | tablespoons | green chili peppers | diced |
| 8 | ounces | tomato sauce | |
| 1 | each | beef bouillon cube | low sodium |
| 12 | ounces | beer | |
| 1 1/4 | cups | water | |
| 4 | tablespoons | chili powder | |
| 2 1/2 | tablespoons | cumin | ground |
| 1/8 | teaspoon | dry mustard | |
| 1/8 | teaspoon | brown sugar | |
| 1 | pinch | oregano |
In a large kettle or Dutch oven, brown the beef, pork and onions in hot Wesson oil.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Add remaining ingredients.
Stir well.
Cover and simmer 3 to 4 hours, until meat is tender and chili is thick and bubbly.
Stir occasionally.

Very easy and quick. Used penne pasta in lieu of linguini. My wife said I was wasting my time, kids would not eat. But, they LOVED it, said they want it again tomorrow. Son said 'you really out-did yourself dad'. Next time I think I'll add some capers.
