| 1/2 | cup | walnuts | coarsely chopped |
| 1 | tablespoon | lemon juice | |
| 2 | teaspoons | scallions, spring or green onions | finely chopped |

In small bowl, stir cream cheese until smooth; stir in walnuts, lemon juice, green onions and garlic powder.
Serve with whole wheat or pumpernickel party bread.
