Thai Beef with Noodles

Ingredients

1 pound sirloin steak boneless, top
1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce, sodium reduced
1/4 cup sherry dry
1 teaspoon ginger root grated
1 teaspoon garlic minced
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/4 teaspoon red hot chili pepper, dried crushed, up to 1/2 teaspoon
2 cups ramen noodles cooked, or linguine
1/4 cup scallions, spring or green onions chopped tops, or fresh cilantro

Directions

Combine sherry, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, sesame oil and pepper.

Place beef steak in plastic bag; add marinade.

Close bag securely and marinate 15 minutes.

Pour off marinade; reserve.

Heat non stick skillet over medium heat 5 minutes.

Add steak and cook 12 to 15 minutes for rare (140 F) to medium (160), tuning once.

Remove steak; keep warm.

Dissolve 2 teaspoons cornstarch in reserved marinade and 1/4 cup water; add to skillet.

Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Stir in noodles.

Carve steak into thin slices and serve over noodles.

Sprinkle with green onion.
