These baked chicken wings get dipped in taco sauce, then rolled in a crunchy coating of breadcrumbs mixed with taco seasoning until every piece is thoroughly covered.
Into the oven they go, and 30 minutes later you’ve got wings with a crispy, spiced crust that shatters when you bite through to the juicy meat underneath.
Four ingredients. No deep fryer. No mess. Just a baking sheet full of wings that’ll disappear before halftime.
Chef Tips
- Cut at the joint. Separating the wings into flats and drumettes means more surface area for that crunchy coating and easier eating.
- Coat thoroughly. Press the breadcrumb mixture onto each piece firmly after dipping in taco sauce so the crust stays put during baking.
- Serve with extras. A side of sour cream, guacamole, or extra taco sauce for dipping takes these from snack to showstopper.
