This is the appetizer that looks like you hired a caterer but takes about as long as opening a bag of chips.

A log of creamy goat cheese gets rolled in crunchy salted sunflower seeds, drizzled with golden honey, and scattered with fresh raspberries, blackberries, or blueberries.

Every bite hits salty, sweet, tangy, and crunchy all at once.

Set it out on a platter with crackers and watch it vanish before anyone asks what’s for dinner.

Chef Tips

  • Use a firm goat cheese log so it holds its shape when you roll it. If it’s too soft, pop it in the freezer for 10 minutes first.
  • Swap the berries by season. Fresh figs in fall, pomegranate seeds in winter, or sliced stone fruit in summer all work beautifully.
  • Drizzle the honey right before serving so it stays glossy and doesn’t get absorbed into the seeds.
