Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Grease two 9×5 inch (23×12 cm) loaf pans and dust lightly with flour.

  2. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter with an electric mixer until creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar, beating until light and fluffy. This step builds the structure of the cake. Do not rush it.
