Sparkling Pineapple Punch

Ingredients

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
2 Three-inch cinnamon sticks
1/4 cup lime juice
1 can pineapple juice chilled (46oz)
1 Bottle water sparkling, chilled, 1 litre
1 Bottle white wine sparkling, chilled, (750 milliliters)

Directions

Heat sugar, water and cinnamon to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 15 minutes.

Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours or until chilled.

Remove cinnamon from syrup. Just before serving, mix syrup with remaining ingredients in punch bowl.
