Cranberry and pineapple juices get sweetened with a simple sugar syrup, frozen solid, then scooped into a punch bowl or individual glasses and topped with fizzy lemon-lime soda.
The slushy texture is half the fun. It’s like a grown-up snow cone that keeps itself cold without watering down.
Makes a massive 2 gallons, and since the base lives in your freezer, you can serve it one glass at a time or dump the whole batch into a punch bowl for a crowd.
Pro Tips
- Pull the frozen mixture out 30 minutes before serving so it’s scoop-able but still icy.
- Use the back of a spoon to mash the slush into the soda for the best consistency.
- For individual servings, scoop the frozen mixture into a glass and pour soda over the top. It fizzes up beautifully.
