This is the weeknight hero that asks almost nothing of you.

Chicken pieces get coated in a creamy celery soup mixture with flour, paprika, basil, and garlic, then layered into the slow cooker with zucchini and tomatoes.

Flip it on low, walk away for 8 to 10 hours, and come home to chicken that practically falls off the bone in a thick, savory sauce.

The zucchini melts into the gravy while the tomatoes add little bursts of brightness.

Ten minutes of morning prep, zero effort the rest of the day.

Pro Tips

  • Mix the flour into the condensed soup before adding it to the crock pot. This keeps the sauce smooth and lump-free.
  • Don’t lift the lid during cooking. Every peek lets heat escape and adds time. Trust the process.
  • Serve over egg noodles or rice to catch every bit of that creamy sauce.
