Ingredients

1 1/3 cups wheat flakes no sugar or salt added
2/3 cup flour, self-rising
1/4 cup raisins, seedless plumped
2 tablespoons brown sugar packed
1/2 cup milk, skim
2 tablespoons margarine melted, cooled

Directions

Preheat oven to 400F (205C).

Coat a medium-size baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.

In a medium-size bowl, combine cereal, flour, raisins and brown sugar.

Add milk and melted margarine and mix thoroughly with a wooden spoon.

Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto baking sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart.

Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve warm.

Makes about 10 scones.
