| 1 | tablespoon | vinegar | |
| 2 | tablespoons | vegetable oil | |
| 1 | cup | water | |
| 1 | teaspoon | onion | dried |
| 1 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 1 | teaspoon | sugar | |
| 1 | teaspoon | instant coffee | |
| 1 1/2 | tablespoons | cocoa powder | dark, unsweetened |
| 1 | cup | rye flour | dark |
| 1 1/2 | cups | bread flour | unbleached |
| 1/2 | cup | oat bran | |
| 2 | tablespoons | caraway seeds | optional |
| 2 1/2 | teaspoons | yeast, active dry |
Place first 8 ingredients in the breadmaker pan.
Stir to desolve coffee and disperse cocoa.
Add remaining ingerdients. Set for regular cycle and press start.
Makes a small, short loaf.

Truly awesome. I made the dough myself using the bread dough dough cycle on the breadmaker. Also used some olive oil instead of 3/4 cup of butter to lighten things up. Next time I'll use canned parmesan instead of fresh shaved so it's more like bread crumbs. Incredible smell. Just toating it later for breakfast the next day made it worth it. Great breakfast/brunch bread.
