This no-fuss raspberry and pineapple drink blends up in seconds and tastes like summer in a glass. Fresh or frozen raspberries both work here, so you can pull this off year-round.

The honey is added to taste, which means you control the sweetness. Start with a small drizzle and blend again. Fresh pineapple already brings plenty of natural sugar, so you may not need much at all.

Straining is the step that separates this from a basic smoothie. It pulls out the raspberry seeds and any pulp, leaving you with a silky, juice-like texture that’s easy to sip.

Kitchen Tips

  • Frozen raspberries make the drink colder and thicker without needing ice, which can water things down
  • Use very ripe pineapple for maximum sweetness and less need for honey
  • Strain through a fine-mesh sieve and press the pulp with a spoon to get every drop of juice out
  • Chill your water ahead of time for the coldest result

Variations

  • Swap the water for coconut water for a tropical twist
  • Add a handful of fresh mint leaves before blending for a refreshing herbal note
  • Use mango instead of pineapple for a raspberry-mango version
