| 2 | cups | cider vinegar | |
| 1/2 | cup | hawaiian salt | |
| 4 1/2 | cups | brown sugar | |
| 6 | cups | water | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | five spice powder | |
| 2 | tablespoons | food coloring | red |
| 5 | cups | mango | green, sliced |
Combine ingredients.
Boil, cool, and pour over sliced mangoes.
This pickled mango makes a good appetizer and goes well with a lot of Filipino dishes like adobo.
