Ingredients

1 cup sugar
1 cup vegetable shortening
2 cups flour, all-purpose
1 each egg
1 cup persimmon pulp
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup raisins, seedless dunk in whiskey
1 cup walnuts chopped
1/2 teaspoon cloves ground
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions

Cream shortening and sugar, add egg and beat.

Add all the rest.

Drop by teaspoon and bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
