Peaches and Cream Cheesecake

I made this for an office birthday and some describe it as the "dessert to die for". I made it exactly as indicated and did not find it to be missing anything.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups flour, all-purpose
1 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1 cup milk
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 packages pudding mix vanilla, not instant
20 ounces peaches, canned sliced, drained (reserve syrup)
16 ounces cream cheese
1 cup sugar
6 tablespoons peach syrup
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons sugar

Directions

Combine first 6 ingredients, and beat 2 minutes at medium speed.

Pour into a greased and floured 9x13 inch pan.

Arrange peaches over the top of batter.

Combine cheese, sugar and peach syrup.

Beat 2 minutes.

Spoon over peaches.

Mix cinnamon and sugar together, and sprinkle over the top.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.

Store in the refrigerator.

Slippery Sam's Cowboy Chili

This chili supprised me. I lived in south Texas for 30 years and thought I had learned from the best. Slippery Sam turned out really good. I did doctor it up a tad, w/ twice the peppers and more garlic. It will be even better the second warming.
