| 1/3 | cup | soy sauce | |
| 2 | tablespoons | sugar | |
| 2 | tablespoons | water | |
| 1 | tablespoon | sherry extract | |
| 2 | cloves | garlic | minced |
| 1 | teaspoon | ginger root | |
| 1 1/2 | pounds | beef, sirloin steak | boneless, cut 1 inch thick |
| 8 | each | pineapple, fresh | 1 x 1 inch, cubes, fresh |
| 1 | small | green bell pepper | cut into 8, pieces |
Combine first 6 ingredients.
Cut steak into 16 1-inch; cubes;place in plastic bag.
Pour marinade over beef,turning to coat.
Tie bag securely and marinate in refrigerator 6 to 8 hours or overnight.
Drain marinade into small saucepan.
Cook slowly 5 minutes.
Alternately thread 4 beef cubes,2 pineapple cubes and 2 green pepper pieces on each of 4 12-inch skewers.
Place kabobs on grill over ash-covered coals so surface of meat is 3 to 4 inches from heat.
Boil 15 to 20 minutes,depending on doneness desired (rare or medium),turning and brushing with marinade occasionally.

This is by far the best chili mac recipe I have tried in a long time. I made some minor substitutions: 1-10oz can of Rotel/w chiles, made up the balance with 4oz of flat beer, 1 finely diced clove of garlic for the ingredients. Turned out Great! Thanks. 52jimh
