| 5 | cups | vidalia onions | peeled |
| 1/4 | cup | butter | melted |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 1 1/2 | cups | mushrooms | fresh, sliced |
| 3 | ounces | cream cheese | |
| 3 | teaspoons | flour, all-purpose | |
| 1 1/2 | cups | milk | |
| 1/4 | cup | cheddar cheese | grated |
| 1/4 | cup | cracker crumbs |
Combine onions with butter, mushrooms and salt; simmer for 5 minutes in a medium size sauce pan.
Add cream cheese.
When melted, add flour and milk.
Reheat.
Turn into a 2 quart greased casserole dish.
Sprinkle with mixture of grated cheese and crumbs.
Bake in a hot 400 degree F oven for 30 minutes.
