| 1 | cup | flour, all-purpose | |
| 1 | cup | oats, quick cooking | |
| 3/4 | cup | brown sugar | packed |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | baking soda | |
| 1/4 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 3/4 | cup | butter | melted |
| filling | |||
| 1 | cup | chocolate (semi-sweet) | semi-sweet chips, or milk chocolate |
| 1/2 | cup | nuts | chopped |
| 3/4 | cup | caramel ice cream topping | |
| 3 | tablespoon | flour, all-purpose | |
In large bowl combien crust ingredients and blend well.
Press half of mixture in a 9-inch square pan.
Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes. Remove and sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.
Blend topping with flour and spread over all. Sprinkle with remaining crust crumbs and bake 15-20 minutes or until golden.
