| 1 | cup | beef | veal or lamb, julienned, cooked |
| 1 | cup | ham | julienned, baked or boiled |
| 1 | tablespoon | onion | minced |
| 6 | tablespoons | vegetable oil | |
| 2 | tablespoons | cider vinegar | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | black pepper | |
| 1 | teaspoon | parsley leaves | minced |
| 1/4 | cup | heavy whipping cream | or sour cream |
| 1 | each | egg | hard boiled, sliced |
| 1 | each | beet | pickled or boiled, sliced |
Mix cut meats with onion.
Beat together oil, vinegar, pepper and parsley.
Stir cream into dressing.
Mix with meats combining lightly.
Garnish with sliced egg and beet.
Served as a main dish salad.

I made this for Easter and everyone raved about them! My mother-in-law said they were the best hot cross buns she had ever had. (Coming from her, that speaks volumes!)
