New Year is coming, this moment is always excited, it means a lot. But we always need some good recipes to celebrate it, this chowder is a great one to keep!

Ingredients

2 ounces ham chopped
1 cup red onion chopped
4 cloves garlic minced
1 1/2 teaspoons rosemary leaves crushed
32 ounces chicken broth nonfat
16 ounces black-eyed peas can, undrained
2 1/2 cups red potatoes diced
2 cups greens Collard, Turnip Or Mustard greens
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup parsley leaves fresh, chopped

Directions

Spray a 4 qt.

Dutch oven with pam. Heat over Medium heat for 1 minute.

Add ham, onion, garlic and rosemary.

Cook until onion is tender, stirring often.

Add broth, peas, potatoes, green and pepper.

heat to boiling.

Reduce heat to Low.

Cover and cook for 30 minutes or until potatoes and greens are tender, stirring occasionally.

Stir in parsley.
