| 1 1/2 | cups | butter | or margarine |
| 3 | cups | sugar | |
| 5 | large | eggs | |
| 3 | cups | flour, all-purpose | |
| 3/4 | cup | lemon-lime soda | |
| 2 | tablespoons | lemon extract |
Grease and flour a 10 inch fluted pan.
Cream together the butter, sugar, eggs until well creamed.
Add eggs one at a time. Add flour one cup at a time and mix well.
Add carbonated beverage and lemon extract and mix.
Pour into a 10 inch flutted pan and bake at 350 degrees F. for 60-65 minutes.
