| 1 | cup | cracked wheat | |
| 2 | cups | water | hot |
| 1/2 | cup | poppy seeds | |
| 1 | cup | honey | |
| 2 | cups | water | |
| 1 | teaspoon | salt |
Soak wheat in 2 cups of hot water for 30 minutes. Bring to a boil and cook covered until tender.
Mix in poppy seed.
Cook honey with remaining 2 cups of water for 20 minutes.
Cool and serve with wheat and poppy seed mixture.
