| 2 | cups | flour, all-purpose | |
| 8 | ounces | cream cheese | |
| 1/2 | pound | butter | |
| 1 | each | egg | |
| 2 | teaspoons | sugar |
Sift flour and sugar together.
Work in butter, cream cheese and egg yolk.
Knead together and let stand overnight in refrigerator.
Roll out thin on flour and sugar.
Cut into squares.
Fill with walnuts, lekvar (prunes), poppy seed or apricot.

Good recipe; but this is a Bengali recipe and you have forgotten the poppy seed paste called Pustho... i think that is necessary. Pls confirm. Navin.
