| 16 | ounces | kidney beans | rinsed well OR 16 oz pinto beans, rinsed well |
| 1 | each | celery stalks | diced |
| 1 | teaspoon | pickles, dill | grated |
| 2 | teaspoons | onion | grated |
| 1 | each | egg whites | hard-cooked, finely chopped |
| 1 | x | romaine lettuce | leaves |
| 1/4 | cup | salad dressing, creamy | anchovy yogurt |
Mix first 5 ingredients together lightly. Arrange on lettuce leaves and top with a spoonful of dressing.

General:Bay Leaves come from the sweet bay or laurel tree, known botanically as Laurus nobilis. The elliptical leaves of both trees are green, glossy, and grow up to 3 inches long....
I love the taste of bread and butter pickles and this relish reminds me of that taste.
