1 Pie
suggest servings
| 1 | each | pie shell (9 inch) | |
| 6 | each | egg yolks | |
| 28 | ounces | milk, sweetened condensed | |
| 8 | ounces | lime juice | fresh squeezed |
Pre heat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large bowl beat the egg yolks and condensed milk. Stir in lime juice.
Pour into shell and bake for 12 minutes. Cool. Chill.
Serve with whipped cream topping.
Optional: You can make a meringue topping for the pie using left over egg whites. Beat 4 egg whites until stiff, gradually add 1/2 cup sugar.
Top off UNCOOKED pie with meringue mixture and bake for 15 minutes instead.
