| 2 | large | eggs | |
| 1 | cup | sugar | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 1 | teaspoon | vanilla extract | |
| 1 | cup | flour, all-purpose | |
| 3/4 | cup | gumdrops | small, spiced, halved, divided |
| 3/4 | cup | walnuts | chopped, divided |
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
In large bowl beat together eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla.
Stir in flour.
Mix in 1/2 cup of the gumdrops and 1/2 cup of the walnuts.
Turn onto greased 9 inch square baking pan.
Sprinkle with remaining gumdrops and walnuts.
Bake for about 35 minutes, or until top has a firm, dull crust.
Cool in pan.
Cut into 24 bars.
