Ingredients

1/4 cup preserves any flavor
6 slices whole wheat bread divided
6 tablespoons liquid egg substitute
1/4 cup milk, skim
2 tablespoons margarine
1 tablespoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon ground

Directions

Evenly divide and spread preserves on 3 bread slices; top with remaining bread slices to make 3 sandwiches, pressing to seal.

Cut each sandwich diagonally in half.

In shallow bowl, combine egg beaters and milk.

Dip each sandwich in egg mixture to coat.

In large skillet or griddle, over medium-high heat, brown sandwiches in margarine until golden brown on both sides.

Combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over sandwiches.
