Ingredients

2 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 cups sour milk
4 cups flour, all-purpose
3/4 cup butter
2 cups jam
2 teaspoons baking soda
3 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons cloves
2 teaspoons nutmeg
3 large eggs
15 ounces raisins, seedless
1 cup nutmeats
1 x figs as desired
1 x dates as desired

Directions

Mix all ingredients together well except jam.

Lastly, gently stir in the 2 cups jam.

Pour into greased and floured 9 inch round cake pans.

Bake in 325 degree oven for 35-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

If desired, serve caramel icing.
