Ingredients

1 cup flour, all-purpose
1 cup whole wheat flour whole wheat
2 tablespoons wheat germ
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup blackstrap molasses
1 1/4 cup water
1 cup raisins, seedless

Directions

Combine flours, wheatgerm, baking powder & soda & salt. Stir in oats & sugar. Mix thoroughly. Add raisins. Combine oil, molasses & water. Add to dry ingredients. Stir until thoroughly blended. Turn into greased 23x13x7 cm loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
