| 3 | tablespoons | water | |
| 4 | teaspoons | cornstarch | |
| 1 | each | egg | beaten |
| 3/4 | cup | light cream | |
| 3/4 | cup | sugar | |
| 1 | teaspoon | cinnamon | ground |
| 1/4 | teaspoon | nutmeg | ground |
| 4 | medium | apples, red delicious | peeled |
| 1 | x | pie shell (9 inch) | for a double-crust pie |
| 2 | tablespoons | butter | |
| 1 | tablespoon | milk | |
| 1 | tablespoon | cinnamon sugar |
In a small bowl, mix water and cornstarch until dissolved, add egg, cream, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Place apples in a large bowl; pour cream mixture over and stir to coat.
Line a 9 inch pie pan with the bottom pastry, pour apple mixture into crust.
Dot with butter, top with remaining pastry.
Bake.

Turmeric is what gives curry it's brilliant colour. Now it may be protecting children against leukemia......
Simply put, I have never had better Cole Slaw. The big plus,no mayonaise. Take it to spreads, and church socials without the worry.
