Ingredients

1/4 cup butter or margarine
2 tablespoons vegetable oil olive or vegetable
1 each garlic clove, minced
3 tablespoons parmesan, parmigiano-reggiano cheese, grated grated
2 tablespoons chives freah, chopped
1 teaspoon prepared mustard dijon
1 each bread, french loaf, sliced

Directions

Melt butter in a saucepan. Add oil and garlic; sauté until garlic is tender. Remove from the heat; stir in parmesan, chives and mustard. Cool for 5 minutes or until creamy. Spread on one side of each slice of bread. Place with buttered side up on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 6-8 minutes or broil servings.
