Ingredients

32ounces tomato juice
14 1/2ounces tomatoes pureed
2cups water
2large potatoes chopped
15ounces chickpeas (garbanzo beans) canned, drained
15ounces kidney beans canned, drained
1cup lentils rinsed, drained
1large onion chopped
2teaspoons garlic powder
1cup sweet red bell pepper diced
1cup green bell pepper diced
10ounces broccoli, frozen chopped
2large carrots grated
2tablespoons parsley leaves dried
2tablespoons chili powder
1teaspoon basil dried
1teaspoon cumin ground

Directions

Combine everything.

After bringing to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered, 30 -

45 minutes or until lentils are tender.
