| 12 | cups | green tomatoes | chopped |
| 16 | cups | apples | unpeeled, cored |
| 4 | cups | golden raisins | chopped, sultanas |
| 2 | cups | currants | |
| 1 | cup | vinegar | |
| 2 | tablespoons | lemon zest | |
| 2 | tablespoons | orange zest | |
| 6 | cups | sugar | |
| 2 | tablespoons | cinnamon | |
| 2 | teaspoons | nutmeg | |
| 3 | teaspoons | salt | |
| 2 | pinch | cloves | |
| 8 | tablespoons | margarine |
1. Chop in processor apples and tomatoes.
2. Add remaining fruit and process.
3. Blend everything in a large pot.
4. Cook slowly for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
5. Bottle and process in hot water bath.

Whether you call them appetizers, hors d'oeuvres, canapés, amuse-bouches, or amuse-gueules, they are the scrumptious...
I wasn't sure how this would taste but it was great. my family doesn't eat much but after dinner there was nothing to put away!! They all ask for it at least once a week. I added a little bit more bacon though and some vegitables.
