Ingredients

1 pound butter
1 pound flour, all-purpose
5/8 pounds sugar white
1 1/3 pounds currants
1/8 pint rosewater
8 2/3 large eggs
3/16 pounds citron

Directions

Mix together to make batter and bake in oven for about 45 minutes.

Invert and cool.

Peanut Butter-Oatmeal Cookies # 2

A terrific light chocolate cookie with a touch of peanut butter. I cut the shortening to 1/2c. with the expected drier results, but I still enjoyed them.
