The Golden Cadillac is a retro cocktail that deserves another lap around the block. Vanilla ice cream blended with herbal Galliano liqueur and white crème de cacao creates a frozen, milkshake-thick drink that’s equal parts cocktail and dessert.

Galliano’s anise and vanilla notes play beautifully against the chocolate sweetness of the crème de cacao. The ice cream rounds everything into a smooth, creamy base that makes the alcohol almost dangerously easy to drink.

This is a big-batch recipe designed for parties. Blend everything together, pour into a freezer-safe container, and it’s ready to scoop and serve whenever guests arrive. The alcohol keeps it from freezing solid, so it stays scoopable straight from the freezer.

  • Use a good quality vanilla ice cream with real vanilla bean specks. The ice cream is the main ingredient, so its flavor matters.
