| 1 | pound | ground beef | |
| 1/4 | pound | sausage meat | |
| 1 | each | onion | |
| 1 | teaspoon | parsley leaves | |
| 1 | cup | bread | dry, soaked in the milk |
| 1 | each | egg | |
| 1/4 | cup | milk | |
| ~sauce | |||
| 2 | tablespoon | butter | |
| 2 | tablespoon | flour, all-purpose | |
| 2 | cups | beef broth | |
| 1 | x | parsley leaves | |
| 1 | x | thyme | |
| 1 | x | bay leaf | |
Combine meats, onions and parsley.
Add bread, egg, salt and pepper.
Chill.
Form into small balls and roll in flour.
Brown on all sides in fry pan.
Melt butter, stir in flour and then add consomme and seasonings.
Stir till thickens and add meatballs, simmer for 20 min.
