| 2 1/2 | cups | flour, all-purpose | |
| 1 | teaspoon | baking soda | |
| 2 | large | eggs | slightly beaten |
| 28 | ounces | mincemeat | prepared |
| 1 | can | milk, sweetened condensed | |
| 2 | cups | mixed candied fruit | |
| 1 | cup | nuts | coarsely chopped |
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
Grease a 9-inch tube pan; line with wax paper and grease again (or use generously greased and floured 10-inch fluted tub pan).
Sift together flour and baking soda; set aside.
In large bowl, combine remaining ingredients; blend in dry ingredients.
Pour into prepared pan.
Bake 1 hour and 45 to 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.
Cool 15 minutes.
Turn out of pan; remove wax paper.
Glaze and garnish as desired.
