Ingredients

1 cup brown sugar
1 cup water
1 cup raisins, seedless
2 tablespoons drippings
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups flour, all-purpose
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions

Cook together sugar, water, raisins, drippings and salt.

Let cool.

Sift together flour, soda, ginger and cinnamon.

Stir into the cooled cooked mixture.

Mix well.

Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees F in a greased loaf pan.

To make a delicious fruit cake add a cup of chopped dates, 1 cup mixed peel, 1/2 cup nuts or drop by teaspoonfuls on a cookie sheet and bake 15 minutes.

Great Latin Quinoa

I think quinoa is an excellent gain, it can absorb any flavor you add into, fantastic taste, and I used fresh green and red chiles, they were really spicy but very tasty, but you don't love spicy, you should reduce the amount of the chiles.
