Ingredients

2 tablespoons margarine or butter
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 small onion chopped, about 1/4 cup
2 cups chicken cooked, cut up
1/3 cup raisins, seedless
1 small apple red, uncored, coarsely chopped
10 3/4 ounces soup, cream of chicken condensed
1 can water measured using soup can
2 cups rice hot cooked
1 x peanuts chopped, if desired

Directions

Cook margarine, curry powder and onion in 3-quart saucepan over medium heat about 4 minutes, stirring frequently, until onion is tender.

Stir in remaining ingredients except rice and peanuts.

Cook, stirring occasionally until hot.

Serve over rice. sprinkle with peanuts. 4 servings.

Baked Chicken with Provolone & Ziti
