Easy Apple Cranberry Pie

Ingredients

1 each pie shell (9 inch)
3 cups apples peeled, sliced
1/2 cup sugar
3 tablespoons flour, all-purpose
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
2 tablespoons butter melted
16 ounces cranberry sauce

Directions

Prepare pie crust according to package directions for two crust pie.

In large bowl, combine all filling ingredients; mix lightly.

Spoon into crust-lined pan.

Top with second crust; seal edges and flute.

Cut slits in top crust.

Bake at 425 degrees F. for 40-50 minutes or until crust is golden brown and apples are tender.

Cover edge of crust with strips of foil after 20 minutes of baking to prevent excessive browning.
