Straight from the Cape, this clam dip brings all the briny charm of a New England beach house appetizer to your kitchen.

Minced clams get blended with softened cream cheese, a splash of clam juice, and just enough heat from chili sauce and hot pepper sauce to keep things interesting.

A squeeze of lemon and a dash of Worcestershire tie it all together with that savory depth you can’t quite put your finger on.

Whip it up in 15 minutes, then let it chill until your guests arrive. Serve with sturdy crackers, toasted baguette rounds, or thick-cut potato chips.

Kitchen Tips

  • Drain the clams thoroughly so the dip stays thick and scoopable
  • Let the cream cheese soften fully at room temperature before blending for a silky texture
  • Make it a day ahead and the flavors will get even better overnight
