10 minThis is the kind of recipe you keep in your back pocket for when you need a dessert fast and have almost nothing to work with. Pre-made chocolate pudding gets stirred with a pinch of cinnamon, spooned into individual graham cracker crusts, and topped with whipped cream and chocolate curls. That’s it. Ten minutes, start to finish.
The cinnamon is a small addition that makes a noticeable difference. It adds warmth to the chocolate and makes store-bought pudding taste a little more intentional, a little less straight-from-the-container.
These are great for kids’ lunches, last-minute potlucks, or when you want something sweet without turning on the oven.
Kitchen Tips
- Use good-quality chocolate pudding cups. The better the pudding, the better the pie. This recipe doesn’t hide mediocre ingredients.
- Make your own chocolate curls by running a vegetable peeler along the edge of a chocolate bar at room temperature. Cold chocolate shatters instead of curling.
- Assemble these just before serving. The graham cracker crust will soften if it sits too long with wet pudding in it.
