| 1 | can | condensed milk | sweetened |
| 3 | ounces | chocolate unsweetened | |
| 2 | cups | coconut | shredded |
| 1 | cup | pecans | |
| 1 | teaspoon | vanilla extract | |
| 1 | dash | salt |
Preheat the oven to 300F.
Grease cookie sheets very well.
Heat the sweetened condensed milk and the chocolate together in a small pot over simmering water until the chocolate has melted.
Remove from the heat and stir in the coconut, pecans, vanilla and salt.
Arrange by teaspoonfuls on the cookie sheets and bake for about 15 minutes, taking care that the bottoms do not burn.

I made this recipe using 1/2 cup bread crumbs instead of the slices of bread. I did not happen to have worchesteshire sauce, so I substituted soy sauce. It was the best meat loaf I had ever made!
