Ingredients

1 1/4 cups flour, all-purpose
1 tablespoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon ground
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1 cup milk
4 tablespoons butter melted
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup chocolate chips
1 x syrup

Directions

Preheat griddle.

Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder and salt in bowl.

Mix together liquid ingredients and beat into dry mixture until smooth.

Fold in chocolate chips.

Pour 1/4 cup batter for each pancake onto hot griddle.

Turn pancakes when tops are covered with bubbles and edges look dry (1 minute).

Turn and cook for additional 1 minute.

Repeat steps.

Serve with syrup.

My mom has made this recipe for years. I like to add lemon extract instead of vanilla extract for a light citrus flavor. You can also use a couple tablespoons of pineapple juice for a little extra flavor
