Four ingredients. Fifteen minutes. A chocolate banana dessert that feels indulgent but stays light.

Chocolate milk gets turned into a proper custard with custard powder (no extra sugar needed since the chocolate milk handles that). Once cooled, it gets poured over sliced bananas and stirred together with toffee-flavored yogurt.

The result is creamy, chocolatey, and fruity all at once. Pop it in the fridge until you’re ready to serve. It’s the kind of no-fuss dessert that’s brilliant for a weeknight treat or a quick something-sweet after dinner.

Kitchen Tips

  • Cool the custard thoroughly before pouring over the bananas; hot custard will turn them to mush
  • Slice the bananas just before assembling so they stay firm and don’t brown
  • Swap the toffee yogurt for vanilla or banana-flavored yogurt if that’s what you have on hand
