Chocolate Kiss Cookies (Healthier Version)

By using mostly whole wheat flour, apple sauce and vegetable oil make these cookies much healthier but still taste delicious.

Directions

Preheat oven to 375℉ (190℃).

Combine all ingredients except sugar and chocolate Kisses.

Roll dough into small balls, then roll into remaining sugar.

Place balls onto greased baking sheets, flatten dough with your finger.

Bake for 7 to 8 minutes. Take cookies out of the oven and press a Kiss in the middle of each cookie.

Bake for an additional 2 minutes. Remove onto cooling racks.

Let cookies cool on baking sheet for about 5 minutes.

Remove cookies onto cooking racks and let cool completely.
